About The Bridge Radio
The Bridge Radio has a 100,000 watt signal that includes the Greater New Orleans are, the entire North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain and most of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Our region is one of the top 50 radio markets in the nation according to the official Arbitron ratings. The vision of The Bridge Radio is to build God’s kingdom and impact lives with a dynamic contemporary Christian radio station that has local contact and global impact.

Why we exist...
Reverend Billy Graham said, “Every generation is strategic. We are not responsible for the past generation, and we cannot bear full responsibility for the next one; but we do have our generation. God will hold us responsible as to how well we fulfill our responsibilities to this age and take advantage of our opportunities.”
This enormous radio station can be a powerful resource not only locally, but globally. Your involvement and support will help us impact our generation and generations to come. By implementing our six core values through dynamic Christian programming we truly have a historic opportunity to gain new ground for the kingdom of God.
Our Core Values.
1. Worship God
The first Great Commandment is, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” (Mark 12:30).

2. Reach People
God loves people! Proverbs tells us that, “He who is wise wins souls.” That’s why The Bridge focuses on evangelistic programming designed to draw people to Christ and share the message of salvation.

3. Build Families
Our children become responsible friends, parents, spouses, workers, business owners and community leaders because of what they either learn or don’t learn in our own homes. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6).

4. Support Churches
The Bridge wants to connect unchurched believers with local churches and unify local churches to build stronger communities. “Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ. You are a member of God’s very own family and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” (Eph. 4:12 & 19).

5. Strengthen Our Nation
We are in a critical moment in American history. With prayer and the Bible being removed from our classrooms and courtrooms, we are raising up a generation of Americans who do not know God.

6. Impact the World
Jesus gave every one of us a Great Commission, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).
“You’ll never get FCC approval for a radio station that covers the greater New Orleans area. They’ve all been reserved decades ago.”
That’s what the broadcast engineer told us with a polite chuckle when the FCC opened a brief application window for Non-Commercial Education (NCE) radio station licenses after an entire decade of refusing to accept new applications from non-profit organizations.

We only heard of the FCC window by chance just in time to apply. It has only been through divine appointments and the favor of God that we have come this far. To say this is a miracle would be an understatement. And now with your partnership and the Lord’s blessing we will continue to take full advantage of this incredibly powerful ministry tool to advance the kingdom of God. “To whom much has been given, much will be required.” Luke 12:48

To the shock of many industry professionals, the Lord had hidden away not just any frequency, but the largest fm NCE radio frequency in Southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Through His divine favor, our application was selected out of a group of over ten qualified applicants and we were awarded this permanent license to broadcast the FCC’s maximum allowable 100,000 watts of power on The Bridge Radio 88.7 fm.
